Oakwell Outfitters is a UK-based specialist supplier of forestry, arboriculture and woodland equipment.

Founded in the forests of Galloway, Oakwell grew from a simple idea: to create a straightforward place for people working in and around woodlands to find reliable equipment, practical consumables and specialist products all in one place.

Our range is focused on the things people actually use in the woods — from forestry PPE, tools and planting equipment to measuring instruments, marking products, chainsaw accessories, consumables and specialist forestry books.

Rooted in Forestry

Oakwell Outfitters has been shaped by real experience working in arboriculture and forestry.

We understand that equipment used in the woods needs to be practical, dependable and suited to the job. That’s why our aim isn’t to fill the shop with thousands of unrelated products simply to make the catalogue look bigger.

Instead, we’re building a carefully selected range from manufacturers and suppliers we believe offer genuinely useful products for forestry workers, arborists, contractors, woodland owners and students.

An Independent Business

Oakwell Outfitters is an independent business, built in Scotland and starting small.

We’re developing relationships with established manufacturers and specialist suppliers while gradually building our own stockholding. As Oakwell grows, our intention is to hold more of the products our customers use regularly while continuing to expand our specialist forestry range.

Being independent also means we can listen to our customers. If there’s a particular product you think Oakwell should stock, we’d genuinely like to hear about it.

More Than an Equipment Shop

We want Oakwell Outfitters to become more than somewhere to buy equipment.

Alongside our products, we’re developing practical guides and resources covering forestry equipment, tree measurement, planting, chainsaw accessories, PPE and woodland management.

Whether you work in forestry or arboriculture, manage woodland, are studying the industry or simply spend a lot of time working amongst trees, our goal is simple:
